Help Us Promote Good Bills and Kill Bad Bills
BY TESTIFYING BEFORE A LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE
How & Why CRBC Needs Your Help!.
A- One of the most effective ways in influence legislation at the State House and/or Senate is for a small businessperson to testify before a House/Senate committee.
B- Small business is the major source of jobs in Colorado so testimony about a bill's impact (good or bad) on your business will be listened to!
C- You do not even have to be the owner of the business as long as you have significant ties to the business - plus, certainly a spouse (active or not) can provide effective testimony.
[Note: For some reason, females often are more effective before these committees than males.]
D - If you want or need help, CRBC can coach you on how to make an effective 2 or 3-minute presentation.
E - Please let us know if you would be willing to testify - IF the date and time of testimony fits into your schedule.
[Note: We will call try to call you as soon as we know (a) when testimony is taking place and (b) that your business will/might be impacted by a particular bill.
